                       ELECTION OF SUPERVISOR 

                      TAKING THE OATH FOR ELECTED SUPERVISOR

The 2023 Annual Landowners Meeting of the San Carlos Estates Water Control District (“District”) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

The meeting will be held at the Gulfshore Life Center (Gulf Shore Church) located at 25300 Bernwood Drive, Bonita Springs, Florida, 34135.  The check-in process for the balloting will occur after the meeting is called to order and person(s) are nominated for the position.  Bring your own pen.

Any Landowner wishing to vote will need to attend the Landowners Meeting on September, or furnish a completed voting proxy to someone attending the meeting to vote on their behalf.  The voting proxy form is available for download below.  If you are unable to download the voting proxy form, you may email a request for a copy to Manager-AMedeiros@scewcd.org or call 239-495-4699 to have a copy mailed to you.  Please note that Landowners whose District assessments have not been paid cannot vote.

The Supervisor’s position to be voted upon is that held by Supervisor James Bradford whose three-year term expires this year.  Any Landowner who is current on the payment of their District assessments can participate in the nomination process and voting process. If a qualified Landowner is interested in serving on the Board of Supervisors, please notify the Manager/Superintendent of Operations, Audrey Medeiros, at Manager-AMedeiros@scewcd.org or make your announcement at the Landowners Meeting.  Any qualified landowner can nominate a qualified landowner, including themselves, for participation in the election for the Supervisor’s position. You can find the name(s) of those person(s) who have made it known to the District staff that they are interested in being nominated for the Supervisor’s position and information about them on the District’s website under the “Annual Landowners Meeting” tab.

Person(s) interested in being nominated for Board Supervisor: 

James M. Bradford - Current Chair and President - Jim plans to run for another term as Supervisor for the Board for the San Carlos Estates Water Control District.  He has so many plans for the District and projects under discussion with multiple governmental agencies that he feels compelled to see what he has started completed for the benefit of all of the residents.
